That’s me. I’m not terribly photogenic.

This blog is a place for me to practice writing with purpose. In my day job I am a consultant and I write computer software. I love writing software, it’s the thing I do best, but I also like to push myself to learn new skills. I’m a firm believer in practice, practice, practice, and that’s why I started this blog.

I’ll write about the things I’m most interested in because that’s what I know most about. I’m interested in programming, the teaching of programming, computers and technology in general, psychology (and especially the effects of psychology on leadership and team dynamics), and music.

Hopefully over the course of months, maybe years, I’ll find a unique voice and style for my writing and people will find my blog genuinely interesting. That’s my aim.
